Depression- A Bundle of Negative Thoughts


Everyone feels happy and sad now and then. We all have emotions and feelings. When the negative feelings stay longer in mind and lead us to hopelessness, such disorder of mental power is called depression. Sometimes it vanishes with the means of entertainment and games. But sometimes this state of mind continues for weeks and months longer. At that time if the proper treatment is not given to the patient, the results can be very fatal and dangerous. Depression may lead us to the negative thoughts like there is no use of living such a hell life where no body is mine. You may start thinking of committing suicide. Depression is a common but serious illness, and the most people who experience it need treatment to get better. People with a depressive illness cannot merely pull themselves together and get better. Without treatment, symptoms can last for weeks, months, or years. Appropriate treatment, however, can help most people who suffer from depression.

Symptoms:

The symptoms of depressions vary from person to person. Some may get rid of it easily while some are not able to get over it for a long time. The first symptom is change in behavior. When somebody behaves in a strange way than normally he does. He is supposed to be under depression. Some common symptoms are given below.

  • Change in behavior: Sudden change in behavior is very dangerous and if this state of behavior lasts for a couple of days or for months then the patient must be got treated from a doctor.
  • Negative thinking: Having negative feeling all the time in mind may be depression. You should not ignore it. What is more important is to encourage the patient that life is very beautiful. It is just the result of our thinking which makes us lose interest in life.
  • Death of loved one: This is one of the most important reasons which cause depression. This is because of separation from the person whom we love too much and he is no more. The pain of separation leads the patient to the thoughts of suicide. He just wants to drag his days somehow on this earth. He becomes blue like a faded flower.
  • Tension of work: Tension of work is a very common reason which leads us to depression. Tension of completing the target often makes a man live in tension.
  • The fear of threat: It can be a very common reason for depression. You can judge the condition a person who has been threatened to be shot dead.
  • Selection of wrong field: In life we all choose a particular field of work for ourselves. Sometime we don’t get work according to our choice. At that time the feeling of inferior complexity may hurt you all the time.
  • Wrong deeds: Our own wrong deeds can be very harmful for us. Unknowing we did something and when we come to know the reason then it’s too late to mend In that situation it likely that you may find yourself in a depression mood.

What do you know by cancer- Cancer is the name given to a malignant tumor


The organs and tissues of the body are made up of tiny building blocks called cells. Cells divide and multiply as the body needs them. When these cells continue multiplying when the body doesn't need them, the result is a mass or growth, also called a tumor. Tumors can be either benign or malignant. Cancer is the name given to a malignant tumor. Doctors can tell if a tumor is benign or malignant by examining a small sample of cells under a microscope. Benign tumors aren't cancerous. They can often be removed, and, in most cases, they do not come back. Cells in benign tumors do not spread to other parts of the body. But malignant tumors are cancerous. Cells in these tumors can invade nearby tissues and spread to other parts of the body. The spread of cancer from one part of the body to another is called metastasis. Malignant rumors are very dangerous and finally they are likely to take the life of the patient.

    1. Take vitamin A, E & C enriched food:- You should take gapes, oranges and pineapples and their juices. You should take beans, pluses and sweet potatoes. You should take milk also as it contains all nutritious elements.

    1. Take the fiber enriched vegetables: Take cauliflower, cruciferous vegetables, such as cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and cabbage as these are high in fiber and reduce the risk of developing cancer.

Heart attack - known as myocardial infarction - Precautions


What is heart attack?

A heart attack which is also known as myocardial infarction can be very dangerous if the timely aid is not given to the patient. Each second counts at the time of heart attack. During heart attack there is sudden pain in the chest with breathing difficulty. The sever pain of heart attack can travel from cheat to neck, jaw and ear. A heart attack occurs when the blood supply to part of the heart muscles is severely reduced or stopped. The blood supply to heart is stopped or becomes slow if one or more of the coronary arteries supplying blood to the heart muscle is blocked In heart attack the patient becomes pale and grey. If the blood supply is cut off for more than a few minutes, muscle cells suffer permanent injury and die. This can kill or disable someone, depending on how much heart muscle is damaged. . Heart attacks can be suddenly fatal but the great majority of the attacks are not so fatal provided that the proper care should be given at that time. The heart patient must be reached to hospital as soon as possible. After a proper treatment, the heart patient can lead a normal life.

What causes it?

As we grow up, the pumping capacity of the heart becomes weak. But the critical stage of heart attack results from the added stress of health conditions that either damage the heart or make it work too hard. The main reasons which lead to heart failure are high blood pressure, smoking, being overweight, eating foods high in fat and cholesterol, not performing exercises and having diabetes. Some people are born with structural heart defects which keep increasing with the course of time. The death of tissue from the lack of oxygen leads to heart failure. The heart needs a steady supply of blood. The lack of blood causes the pain or pressure in the chest. If the blood supply is not restored, heart cells can die and scar tissue can form, replacing working heart tissue. The heart strokes are caused due to obstacles in blood supply to the heart. The blockage of the arteries which supply oxygen to the heart causes the heart attack.

Precautions:

1. Don’t take greasy stuff if you don’t do hard physical labor.

2. Take regular exercise to make your heart strong.

3. If you feel any sever pain in chest which vanishes and returns, then you must consult a cardiologist.

Precautions for Asthma

Asthma is a common disease and makes one’s life completely hell. It is related to respiratory system and sometime becomes very cruel and may take one’ life. It is chronic disease and it’s very important for the asthma patients to take proper care and precautions regularly. An asthma patient feels totally exhausted when he suffers from attacks that enforce the system to breathe with difficulty. Some of the common symptoms of asthma are wheezing, panting and choking for breath. In this disease the patient does not get sufficient oxygen needed for lungs. Here are some precautions which can be very effective and protect you from asthmatic attack.
  • Morning walk is a panacea for asthma patients. It should be included in daily life. It makes your lungs strong and corrects respiratory system. At morning time the air is clean and refreshing and works like a healing power. At this time there is less pollution.
  • Asthma patients should practice yoga everyday. Some common and easy exercises like anulom and vilom (taking breath from one nostril and leave it from another) should be practiced. These exercises play a very important role in making you asthma free. The habit of early bed should be developed. Go to bed early and get up early in the morning. In this way he can improve his daily habits.
  • Asthma patients should avoid smoking completely. Smoking fills the system with many toxins and the respiratory system gets flooded with them. These toxins are major irritants to the respiratory tract and create an undue pressure on the system that may be too much for an asthmatic to handle. An asthmatic may get more bronchial spasms and is more likely to be affected with respiratory infections if he continues to smoke.
  • An asthma patient should take light food daily. The greasy and spicy food stuff must be avoided from. The food must be fat free. Vegetables and fruits should be taken. You should avoid from fast food as far as possible. It will help you from cough. You shouldn’t take stale food as it may cause you asthmatic attacks. Always take nutritious food which is helpful in keeping you healthy and fit.
  • You should always avoid from cold as it can cause you asthmatic attacks. Whenever you feel whistling sound in your lungs then you should be very careful. At that you can take boiled eggs. You can take clove and honey at an odd time of attack. You should be careful when you are wiping something dusty things. You room must be airy and free from humidity.
  • The best precaution of asthma is to avoid you from allergenic situations. Usually the main reason of asthma is the dusty atmosphere. Where very small organisms are found can cause you severe asthmatic attacks. Sometimes if you have attacks of asthma then don’t lose heart. If possible then chant ‘OM’ and make it a habit your life. Yoga-A remedy of diseases


Yoga is very helpful in life. It strengthens the body as well as the mind. By practicing yoga everyday, we can keep the diseases at length. Yoga is the need of the day. But for doing yoga some precautions should be taken. Following are some tips which can be a great help for you.

  1. Morning is the best time for doing yoga. It should be practice before breakfast after going to toilet. At this time the air is fresh and we can concentrate much better due to cool mind. It makes us feel heavenly pleasures. You just need to give it a good start as you know; well begun is half done.
  2. The place where you are going to practice yoga must be neat and clean. It should be airy and free from insects, bugs and ants.
  3. You should take a glass of lukewarm water before beginning the exercise. You should be tension free. You should wear lose clothes like shorts and vest.
  4. Start with comfortable practices as it will sustain your interest. Sit in a padmasan and do anulom and vilom first. It is very bebeificial in asthma.
  5. Don’t speed up the exercises immediately. It can be very harmful than benefit. While stretching your limbs in certain exercises, you should keep your body flexibility in mind. Do not exert than your capacity.
  6. In the beginning you may feel some pain but you should not very at all. It will vanish when you continue the exercise.
  7. While in mediation, don’t enchant any mantra. Just feel relaxed and continue with it. It will enhance your memory power as well as your will power. Always feel that god is everywhere. Such feeling make your habits pious and take to the strange experiences.

B. Take as much water as you can, it is very important that you should not ignore it. Sometimes due to laziness and careless, we avoid it.

C. Don’t let body temperature go up. You can bring down your temperature by taking complete sleep and taking as much water as you can.

D. Do kapalbhati yoga every day keep your digestive system healthy.

E. To bring down body temperature, you can take husk curd.

F. If you have to sit for a long time during your job. Then you should go for jogging every day. It will make your body toxins come out with perspiration. It will also enhance your hunger as well as makes your digestive system work properly.

G. Don’t conceal your disease from your family members and take some treatment from the doctors. Delay in treatment may create big problem for you.

H. Whenever you have piles, don’t be worried. It is totally curable. Take green vegetables, beans, gruel (dalia) and easily digestible food.
