Health and beauty dealer gets jail term for tax evasion

The Court of Tax Appeals has found a Forever Living Products dealer guilty of tax evasion and sent him to jail for up to two years in a first case of conviction since the government launched its Run After Tax Evaders program.

“This court finds accused Benjamin Kintanar Jr. guilty beyond reasonable doubt for wilful failure to file his income tax return for taxable year 1999,” the court said in its ruling. Get more details at: Newsinfo.inquirer.ne
